大久保 美貴｜Miki OKUBO
1988年、新潟県生まれ。
これまでに三度の妊娠を経験し、一人目から順に正期産、流産、早産で出産。
三人目を妊娠中、二人目を流産する原因となった子宮脱落膜ポリープが再び見つかったため、流産を回避すべく自らの身体と向き合うようになる。
その過程で得たさまざまな情報や自身の体験をベースとし、現在は「妊娠と出産」や「心身の健康」をテーマとするアートに取り組んでいる。
主な手法は陶芸のほか、テキストや映像など。
Born in Niigata Prefecture in 1988.
She’ve had three pregnancies and childbirth, giving birth in the order of the first to a full-term birth, a miscarriage, and a premature birth.
During her third pregnancy, the uterine prolapsed membrane polyps that caused her last miscarriage were found again, so she researched about the vaginal environment and intestinal microflora, which have been pointed out to be related to miscarriage and premature birth, and improved her diet.
Based on the various information and experiences she obtained through the process; She is now working on art for pregnancies, childbirth, physical and mental health using ceramics, text, and video.

此岸と彼岸が近づく秋彼岸に開催される本展では、作家の中のそんな空想と、仏教的な世界観が混ざり合ったイメージを表現した、器や映像などを展示した。

自身の流早産体験を記したエッセイ。不妊治療中の女性やクリニックの先生方、看護師の方々、流産経験のあるバレエダンサーの方へ行ったインタビューなども掲載した。子鹿社より出版、販売中。
An essay about her own experience of miscarriage and premature birth. It also includes interviews with a woman undergoing infertility treatment, clinic doctors, nurses, and a ballet dancer who has experienced miscarriage. Published and on sale by Kojikasha.

東京藝術大学陶芸研究室在学生と卒業生により開催された「第60回 杜窯会作陶展」。
伊豆市貴僧坊で採取した土や、黒曜石などを使用した陶芸作品、「彼岸」を出品した。
The 60th Toyokai Pottery Exhibition was held by current students and graduates of the Tokyo University of the Arts Ceramics Laboratory.
Ceramic works using soil and obsidian collected from Kisobo, titled “Higan,” were exhibited.

Cliff Edge Project「うぶすなの水文学」

伊豆市貴僧坊で行われた、Cliff Edge Project「うぶすなの水文学」の展覧会。
全７組のアーティストが参加し、大久保は映像作品「巡り」のほか、2022年に制作した私家版『私の流産と早産』に大幅加筆修正を加えて出版した『わたしの流産と早産』、貴僧坊の土や黒曜石を使用した陶芸作品などを展示した。
The “Cliff Edge Project Ubusuna Hydrology” exhibition was held at Kisobo, Izu City.
Seven group of artists participated in the exhibition and Okubo exhibited her first video work “MEGURI – The Cycle of Water and Lives”, “My Miscarriage and Premature Birth”, which was produced the previous year and published with major revisions, and ceramic works using soil and obsidian from the Kisobo area.

伊東にあるブックカフェ「壺中天の本と珈琲」にて開催した、自身初となる個展。
展示作品は著書『私の流産と早産』や写真、陶器、ドローイング、2022年に取材した不妊治療中の女性の受精卵の顕微鏡写真など。
Cliff Edge Projectの活動の一環として開催された。
Her first solo exhibition was held at the book café “Books and Coffee in the Kochuten” in Ito.
Works on display included her book “My Miscarriage and Premature Birth”, photographs, ceramics, drawings, and a microscopic photograph of a fertilized egg of a woman undergoing fertility treatment in 2022.
It was held as part of the Cliff Edge Project activities.
