大久保 美貴｜Miki OKUBO
1988年、新潟県生まれ。
これまでに三度の妊娠を経験し、一人目から順に正期産、流産、早産で出産した。当時の体験をまとめた『わたしの流産と早産』を2023年に子鹿社より出版。
現在は美術講師として働く傍ら、果物や文字などをモチーフとし、「崩れ」や「巡り」をテーマとする作品制作に取り組んでいる。
Born in Niigata Prefecture in 1988.
She has experienced three pregnancies: the first resulted in a full-term birth, the second in a miscarriage, and the third in a preterm birth. A book summarizing these experiences, “My Miscarriage and Premature Birth,” was published by Kojikasha in 2023.
She is currently working on creating works based on the theme of “Collapse” and “Circling”, using letters and fruits.

ワークショップ参加者作品
染付のワークショップを不定期で開催。参加者は子どもから大人まで幅広く、それぞれの好きな図案を組み合わせて制作している。
次回はジョイフル本田荒川沖店にて開催予定で、現在参加者募集中。

Duo Exhibition “Floating Here”

荒井佳奈子の紙のモビールと、大久保の映像によるインスタレーション展示。荒井は普段切り絵の作品を制作しているが、今回はその過程で出る無数の紙片を繋いでモビールを作り、大久保はそれらのモビールに映像作品「彼岸に漂ふ」を投影した。
An installation featuring paper mobiles by Kanako Arai and video by Okubo. Arai usually creates paper-cut artwork. For this project, she created mobiles by connecting the countless paper scraps left over from that process, and Okubo projected his video work, “Floating of the Far Side,” onto these mobiles.

Solo Exhibition “Floating on the Far Side”

「もしこの世からあの世へと続く川があったなら」。彼岸と此岸が最も近づくとされる秋彼岸に開催された本展では、作家の空想と仏教的な世界観が混ざり合ったイメージを、器や映像などで表現した。
This exhibition, held during the Autumn Equinox (Higan), showcased vessels and video installations reflecting the artist’s fantasies intertwined with Buddhist spiritual themes.

東京藝術大学陶芸研究室在学生と卒業生により毎年開催される本展。陶芸作品「彼岸」を出品した。
This exhibition is held annually by current students and alumni of the Ceramics Studio at Tokyo University of the Arts. She exhibited my ceramic work titled “Higan”.

伊豆市貴僧坊で行われたアートプロジェクトで、全７組のアーティストが参加。大久保は映像作品「巡り」のほか、私家版『私の流産と早産』に大幅加筆修正を加えて出版した『わたしの流産と早産』、貴僧坊の土や黒曜石を使用した陶芸作品などを展示した。
Seven artists participated in an art project held in Kiso-bo, Izu City. In addition to her video work “Meguri” Okubo exhibited “My Miscarriage and Premature Birth”—a significantly revised and expanded version of his self-published work “My Miscarriage and Premature Birth”—as well as ceramic pieces made using clay and obsidian from Kiso-bo.

個展「私の流産と早産」
Solo Exhibition “My Miscarriage and Premature Birth”

自身初となる個展。展示作品は私家版『私の流産と早産』や写真、陶器、ドローイング、取材した不妊治療中の女性の受精卵の顕微鏡写真など。産後改めてアーティストとして活動を再開するきっかけとなった。
This is her first solo exhibition. The exhibited works include her privately published book “My Miscarriage and Premature Birth” photographs, ceramics, drawings, and microscopic images of fertilized eggs of women undergoing infertility treatment, which she photographed. This exhibition served as a catalyst for her to resume her activities as an artist after giving birth.
